Deeper in

Take a good look at your way out. You have to find it again.

The mountain is basically basalt which has been weathered to a dark brown loam supporting a complex subtropical flora. Inside the canopy shade it is more open to walk.

The scree is mossy and leaf litter thick. A great diversity of vines festoon the trees.

As if the slopes aren't steep enough, astonishing rock outcrops offer sheer drops.
